2025 Giving Tuesday
Dear Friends,
As we celebrate 40 years of compassionate care at Hospice of Davidson County, we find ourselves reflecting on the thousands of families whose lives have been touched by our care team.
Every day, we hear stories that remind us why our mission matters so deeply.
Families share sentiments like:
“You cared for my dad like he was your own.”
“We felt supported every step of the way.”
“You helped us find peace in a moment we didn’t think peace was possible.”
These words stay with us. They inspire us. And they are made possible because of supporters like you.
Today, is Giving Tuesday, and we invite you to help us continue the legacy of compassionate care.
In honor of our 40th anniversary, here are just a few ways your gift can make a difference:
- $40 provides personal care, medications or medical equipment for a patient receiving care at home, and meals for for a week at the Hinkle Hospice House for a patient's family member.
- $140 provides care for a patient in our care greater than 61 days/
- $400 provides ambulance transport for a patient to the Hinkle Hospice House
- $1,040 provides a full day of inpatient care for a patient at the Hinkle Hospice House.
- $4,000 provides assistance to families in need during the time of loss.
Your generosity ensures that patients with serious illness and their families receive the support they need regardless of their ability to pay.
“One of the greatest privileges of my work is witnessing the way our community shows up for one another. When you support Hospice of Davidson County, you are helping us continue a 40-year promise: to bring compassion, dignity and expert care to every patient and family who need us. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
-Ashley Milam, AAS, Marketing Manager
As we look ahead to the next 40 years, your support today helps us ensure that every family continues to receive comfort directed, expert care when they need it most.
Thank you for your generosity – and for recognizing 40 years of care for our community.
Warmly,
Ashley K. Milam
